OK, now I have a steady clicking noise comming from my right speaker
(or there abouts). It is NOT the hard drive, as I've replaced that
already. The clicking stops if I plug in my headphones, but I don't
hear the clicking through the phones! When I unplug the phones the
sound is gone for approx 30 seconds, then it resumes.

Been to the Dell forums and the only thing I found was something about
it being cause by a thingie opening and closing, but that was only
supposed to happen when you were playing a sound file. This happens
right at boot-up and continues the whole time the 'puter is on. I even
went into the BIOS and disabled Audio, no joy. I've pulled the hard
drive out and reseated it, same with the battery. No joy!

This clicking is driving me crazy. Anyone have any suggestions,
please??
