SSD or HDD - Gaming PC - Steam Team Fortress TF 2

My son (with much assistance from his very knowledgeable college roommate) is building his first gaming PC. Son exclusively plays Team Fortress 2.

I was able to purchase this SSD for $100 during BF sales. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The question/debate is whether or not to use the SSD as the only drive, install a regular HDD (and not install the SSD for this system), or install both an SSD and HDD.

If we do the SSD only, from what I can find on forums online, there will be improved map loading times and faster times to join a game. I understand it will not help performance while actually playing the game.

If we install both, there could be file management issues, of which my son would likely need help to deal with and we cannot bother the roommate with.

If we do the HDD only, I can easily sell the SSD, so not worried about losing any $.

Does anyone care to offer an opinion or state pros/cons of each choice?
