Gaming PC for 400$ max

I'm trying to put together a build for a friend of mine he needs a new PC his current budget is 400$. Would it be possible to build a PC that could run WoW @ near max settings or at least just sit at 25 - 30 FPS in raids, etc?

Well, I mean if it came down to it, we could just use XP. Windows XP is more than suitable for running just WoW anyways.

Look at the recent $400 SBM article. Since you don't need a case, take that money and get a decent PSU like a 380W Antec Earthwatts, and another 2GB of RAM; your system will need the former, and WoW likes more of the latter.

I prefer mosox's build of those listed so far. WOW needs a better CPU than the bottom Athlon II X2s featured in the others. Zooted's build also has an ATX mobo and a micro-ATX case; other than the size problem there, he already has a case.

I think we're going to go with Mosox's build, as we don't need a tower, and can reuse the CD/DVD Rom drive from his old PC, as well as the Tower and all input devices, we're also gonna run Windows XP since that is more than sufficient for WoW.
