Building a computer...

I already have an OS, Monitor, Speakers, Keyboard, Mouse, everything. I also already have a Corsair 450VX, 4GB DDR2 800 RAM and an EVGA 9800GT, as well as a 500GB HDD.


To sum it up -
ASUS P5N-D Motherboard
Intel Core 2 Duo E7500
NZXT M59-001BK M59 Case
EVGA 9800GT 512MB
Corsair 450VX
500GB HDD
4GB RAM

Only think I need is a DVD drive, and a few case fans, because the case itself only includes one (I was thinking 2.) Otherwise, how does everything look?

You will probably need a better CPU and mobo... the link doesn't work, must be me.
Not the bets for gaming or OCing, but good for mild gaming and just chillin' on the internet

Yeah, mild gaming. WoW, Oblivion, Crysis on Mid/Low, emulation...

First thing first, whats your budget. what parts you have.. anything at all?

I dont know if you like AMD processors but they are better price to performance ratio. So I suggest you look into to that. AMD Phenom II or AMD Pthlon X4 should do the trick

You most def need to get a better GPU. I suggest you look into HD 5770 good price to performance ratio. But I need to know your PSU unit. maybe crossfire if you already have the card?

Thing is, I'm not looking to build. I'm looking to build off of that barebones kit from Tigerdirect, which struck me as a decent deal, so I've already purchased it. I have about $50 to spare on the DVD Drive/Fans, so whatever you guys can come up with would be pretty good.

then you need another GPU when the budget allows, this mobo supports SLI... =D

Also when you get if (if you don't already have it) look and see if the GPU has a slot for more Video RAM, if so add more to make it a gig =D

@batuchka, that build is horrid! Rosewill is horrrible. plus no RAM, or hardrive.

Err the Rosewill Destroyer offers excellent airflow for the $$
