Best HDD for a backup storage drive?

There are a lot of reviews out there but despite all of the information I'm still confused on what would be the best for my scenario.

I will be using SSDs in RAID0 for the main drive, and need a 1.5tb - 2tb HDD for a storage drive. I don't anticipate using the drive that often, so I'm looking for one that is quiet, has decent performance, and is maintenance free.

What would you suggest?

  1. Get a Western Digital Black drive. Very nice....
  2. What are the WD Blacks like as far as noise level?

They are not the quietest but if you have good mounts you'll never notice them. They excel in reliability and speed (for a hdd).
