Intel i7 Gaming Computer $1500 Budget

This will be my first attempt at designing my own gaming computer. I'm hoping to be able to play the majority of video games on high settings with a 1920x1080 screen resolution (Starcraft 2 specifically). I do want to attempt to overclock this system as I have done some light reading on it.

All in all, I'm willing to go beyond this budget as it is not set in stone. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I realize the benefits of directcanada's free shipping over $300 i've purchased from them before.
Ncix pricematches any instock item in Canada so i would definitely do a dry cart run to see what their shipping would be like.
I would definitely buy the case and a couple of other things like the mobo and ram for the free shipping from direct though.

I'd go with the msi twin frozr 2 gtx 470. it runs cooler. quieter than the stock gtx470 cards and msi afterburner makes it very easy to overclock. i just recently bought it and couldn't be happier.

came out to $319 before tax and after rebate.

You should also get a heatsink for the i7. id recommend:

Other than that, it looks really good. If the new cpu's weren't around the corner id pretty much be building the exact same setup.
