What big HDD should i get

I'm looking for a new HDD to store and record video files to. I have found a 3T Green drive from WD but I don't know if i should get this drive due to it being slow to record my desktop with fraps. I would like some advice if i should get this drive because it is cheep for its size or if i should get a smaller black drive for around the same price?
Thanks, nd0905

More about what
  1. Get a Seagate Barracuda, often much cheaper than WD Black drives and are just as fast.
Heres a good video on how to get the best FRAPS performance.
