SATA drive in SAS server
Hello,
I have an IBM server that states is takes SAS drives and I want to use an SATA HD. I've read the connections on the back of SAS and SATA drives are identical so it should be no problem. Howver, there are 4 large pins on the back of the SATA drive in the lower left of the plane and there is not a 4-pin connector at the corresponding place in the back of the slot. Will the drive work ?
