Im running an amd phenom x4 b35 on asus m4a785-m with vista ultimate x32. I get bsod upon boot up of vista after unlocking cores. Any ideas?

  1. Unlocking cores sometimes doesn't work. You can try bumping up the cpu voltage to about 1.4, but I wouldn't go much higher.
  2. BSOD on startup is usually associated with a memory error. Try bumping the NB voltages a tad, but more than likely, the 4th core is bad -- that is why it was probably disabled in the first place.
  3. Ill check it out. Thx
