i wana ask that

i dnt want to overclock.i am just puchasing asus mobo because they are prety.

so is that combination going to be work or not plz help me.................

Yes. It will work, but you'll need a separate video card for any p55 chipset board. If you want to use the onboard graphics with the 540, then get an h55 chipset board. I've used msi and biostar h55 boards, and they both work well with the onboard graphics.
