Two Beeps after installing new ram

I run a dell inspiron 560 and it had 4 gb earlier (which worked and still works when I put them back in) which consisted of four kingston modules. I want to upgrade to 8 GB and bought two 4GB kits from Crucial that I found to be compatible trough their website. So I exchange all the memory modules and boot, but the computer will just beep two times and show no video at all. The problem must be with the memory as putting back the old modules will allow me to boot and use the computer as normal, but the memory is brand new... What is wrong?

Try each kit individually (new kits) and see if you can get it to boot with just one kit. If that doesn't work then try each module one at a time. This should help isolate which modules (if any) are bad.

If none of the modules work, then I would try using them on another motherboard in order to see if it truly is faulty RAM, or just a compatibility issue.

Let me know how it goes.
