Ok ... I stole the story from Fuad (Fudzilla) but hey ... c'mon ... my old C64 is long dead and buried so this "retro upgrade" looks awesome as a toy.

Plug it into the Plasma !!

Hands up if you still have one in the shed ?

I have my old Mac + (still with manuals and carry case and every item in pristine condition) but I never thought to keep my Atari 2600, Vic 20 or Commodore 64 ... damn it !!

Post if any of this is stirring up some memories ... sad or otherwise !!

That is too cool LOL
I still have a TRS-80 Color Computer 128 with 5 1/4 floppy disk drive (saved up and replaced the Radio Shack TRS-80 cassette drive used to load programs from audio cassettes)
It has 128k ram and a 2.77 mhz Motorola 6809e 8/16 bit chip.
Came loaded with Microsoft Basic
Bill started with Microsoft Basic and it was first seen on the TRS-80 Model 1
Blame Radio Shack for making Bill Gates who he is...

reynod what old Mac model do you have?
I have 2 original Macintosh's serial #'s 2336 amd 5132 on the logic boards (pre 6000 serial number models-the first ones in the dealerships in Jan 1984).

So it (the new C64) runs the new Amiga Workbench OS that's Interesting
