The motherboard I chose has an ATI Radeon 4250 video chipset already in it. I'm a newb; will I be able to put the radeon 5830 in there and connect them to get dual card performance or should I just get a different motherboard?

More about advice time build
  1. You can not "crossfire" a high-end card and an IGP. Even if you could the point is moot.
Also that board cant crossfire either, X16/X4 is really a bottleneck.

Is this for gaming? If so what monitor do you have and what games do you play?
  2. K, I'll choose a different motherboard then. Any suggestions on a good cheap one?

Ya I'll be using this computer for gaming. Starcraft 2 for sure, diablo 3 when that comes out, maybe WoW if the next expansion is good, the total war series is always good, and I'll probably pick up an fps or two when I can afford to throw some more money around.

    I have a samsung syncmaster 192mp monitor with a tv tuner (

Its far from the ideal gaming monitor but I was planning on seeing how everything looks on it and if it is ok then Ill be able to save some money and space by not buying a new monitor. Do you have a recommendation for a monitor if I do decide to pick one up?

    Thanks for the feedback
