Let me see if I got this right, you are trying to run a DVD install disk on a CD-ROM drive? If I understand you correctly, that simply isn't possible. You need a DVD drive to do the installation. If I am wrong, have you inserted the disk in the drive and waited for a prompt to begin installation? Is the disk recognized by your computer?
