How would a Pentium 4 3.2 GHZ with HT and 1 or 2 GB of RAM and a HD 3650 512 mb perform in games like Crysis, CoD4, MW2 etc...? :kaola:

I had an old P4 3GHz, 1GB RAM, XP that I put a 9800 GTX+ in for a couple months. It could play stuff like the MW2 demo at 1680x1050 at med-low settings fine.

The biggest problem is the 3650 is nowhere near strong enough of a graphics card. It also depends on screen resolution.

The PCI-E versions of those cards are about the same price and much faster. You should look into a system upgrade, if possible, rather than putting too much money into an already obsolete PC.

Yeah but listen up... Do you know how it feels to run a game with playable FPS on a system far below the minimum system requirements? It is a lot more fun than maxing it out on a high-end computer.. You only get the fun of maxing the game out, not running the game out on a crappy system... It is just like keeping old cars that are decades old on the road! Not much difference!

If you have 2GB of Ram you could run Crysis on low at like 1024x768 or 800x600 in XP. If you get a Radeon 4670 you could raise some of the visual settings to medium (which looks waaaaaaaaaaay better than low), but you would still have to keep all the CPU intensive options to low. COD4 and MWF2 are less demanding so you could probably run those games on medium depending on the resolution. A 3650 could probably do medium on those games at 1024x768 or perhaps med-low at 1440x900.

ridiculous and your opinion..
I want a real system to fully run my games..

When i had my P4 and AGP CARD , in 06 it was GREAT knowing that im pUSHING my SYSTEM to the limit and im playing High END games in LOW, its a great FeelinG and yes ITS like DRIVING A OLD Piss bOX car on the ROAD , its statisfying in many level!!!!

SO MALMENTAL SHUT THE *** UP AND U NOE NOTHING....

3650 would be perfect for ur system as anything above that ur CPU WOULD bottleneck so dont bother ^.^ and it should run CRYSIS medium and COD my 2008 MAC with intel Graphic can run medium pretty sure u have a great time for next year with that system xD

Ok guys, thank you very much for ur replies. Just so you know it, this_is_not_my_gaming_rig!!!! It is just a little experiment! All i want to do is get these games up running on at least lowest with playable FPS. And i have seen people on YouTUbe maxing Far Cry out with a 3.2 GHz Pentium 4, and a 9800 GTX.... How is the 4670 or the 3650 compared to it? and

For me if gaming is on the table there is no sense throwing anymore $$ on a single core/AGP platform @@

Erm guys i never said i want to max any games, just RUN them on at least lowest settings with decent frames! I actually got an old P4 2 GHz, 1.75 GB of RAM and a XFX GeForce 6200 512 mb, and it runs simple games like CoD2 on medium settings with 40 FPS... And CoD4 on lowest with 15-25 Frames and sometimes 40-50 FPS... Thats what i want! Not max these games out... It will be mostly CoD2, CoD4, Fallout 3 , Oblivion IV, Stalker CoP, SoC, CS, Maybe GTA IV but i got another comp for that, Far Cry 1 and maybe 2 and some other games like DiRt and NFS Prostreet... But Far Cry 2 and GTA IV arent very important as told i have another PC ( actually two) for those games... Lol long text but i hope you understand
