Hey,
I am not very good with graphics cards and I have a slightly old computer. Just bought a game which doesn't run well on my computer at the moment, I am under the requirements for the video card and RAM, however the RAM I have already ordered. I am just wondering if I can get any help on what cheap graphics cards my computer can handle. I have a budget of up to £60.
The game recommends a video card of: 512mb NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX or ATI Radeon HD 3870 or better.

Thank you.
My DxDiag is in the spoiler:

Dude you have a P4 and a gig of RAM. I'm afraid you will have to upgrade the whole system. ANY newer card will be bottlenecked badly by the P4.

A GT240 (GDDR5) or HD4670 is about all you're going to get for that amount of cash.

They'll be bottlenecked too by the P4 and the 4670 or gt240 performance would be something on a 8600gts level.

I am upgrading to 3gb of RAM, by the P4 are you talking about the processor? I understand that I need a new system however I am only expecting this to last one more year then I am changing to a new computer. Thanks however for the info.

I would recommend you to not waste money on a new GPU right now. Start saving for the new build:)
