Hello,

My computer detects the PCI-E port but it cannot detect my ATI x600Pro card. Is it the card that has broken or the Port?

My computer detects the PCI-E port but it cannot detect my ATI x600Pro card. Is it the card that has broken or the Port?

EDIT: Now that iv registered an account ill add more detail.

I have pretty much tried everything to get it to work from playing with the bio, clearing the CMOS and switching the PSU from a 250watt to a 300watt and still no luck.

I used PC-Wizzard to detect for any hardware malfunctions and all it did was detect my PCi-E port but not the graphics card when i installed it.

The card itself wont send a signal to the monitor.

sounds like the card has failed to me. i have an 8800gt with the same problem. you could try putting the card in another pc to make sure

I wish i could but all my other pc's are pretty old and dont have PCI-E sadly and most ofther people i know only have laptops.
