You can run an Intel CPU and an AMD GPU, no problem.

There shouldn't be any issues. You can even find motherboards now that support both crossfire and SLI.

The 6950 will work in am 1155 MoBo ..... but at the $240 price tag, it's hardly the buy that the 560 is. In the table below, the 6950 gets 479 fps in Guru3D's test suite, topping out the 560 Ti's 455. The positions switch when two cards are paired however as the twin 560's get 792 fps to the 6950's 751.

The factory OC'd 6950 bumps up to 484 but the 900 MHz 560 Ti gets 495 fps.....for $40 less. When paired, the 560 900MHz goes up to 862 fps, 103 fps more than the Frozr's 759....for $80 less.

$ 240.00 6950 (479/751)
$ 260.00 6950 Frozr OC (484/759)
$ 205.00 560 Ti (455/792)
$ 360.00 6970 (526/825)
$ 220.00 560 Ti - 900 Mhz (495/862)
