I am looking for an inexpensive computer system that can run AutoDesk- Revit, Photoshop CS5 and Sketchup efficently and quickly. Does Costco offer any systems as a base that one can build off of? Whats confusing, is what would be best to use XP or Windows 7? I like Dane's answer for photoshop in the previous question, but not familiar with Open GL and Shading??? Thank you...

Any reason you can't build your own? Just curious. I'm sure Costco has some decent computers for what you need, I was just there today and I had a look around just for giggles.

Personally I would go with Windows 7, but thats just me.

Windows 7 definitely. Faster boot-up, more efficient usage of multi-core CPU's, alot better taskbar, little faster than XP.
