Something is wrong with my memory card?

I have a 2 GB memory card. Recently I just installing java games in my mobile ,they works fine in my mobile but suddenly I came to knew that my memory card is not accepting any kind of file or something else. I thought it must have a virus ,so I tried to format my memory card but nothing happens .I also tried to format my memory card from pc but an error occurs " Unable to complete the format ".I tried to delete everything from my mobile phone but all files restore itself.
I also scanned it with Microsoft Security Essentials and AVG Antivirus.
So ,please help me I want my memory card working properly.
So,please please please help.

I would suspect the card has simply worn out. Memory cards can only be written to a finite number of times, and you've probably reached that point.
