GTS 450 + E5400 good for gaming?

Guys I've recently built a pc with
P5qpl-am
E5400 @ 3.2 ghz
EVGA GTS 450 @ 822 mhz
2 gb ddr2 ram
80 gb SATA
500 watt silverstone strider essential power supply(80+ efficiency)

I want to play games like GTA 4 and Mafia 2. Someone told me however that GTA 4 is cpu dependent game and may cause problems with e5400. So I overclocked it to 3.24 ghz and the graphic card to 822 mhz. Is this setup enough to play GTA 4 and mafia 2(with low or medium physx) at high settings at resolutions from 1024x768 - 1280x1024 and get playable framerates?

BTW I am able to play Crysis at highest at 1280x1024 resolution and Batman AA at 1600x1200 resolution and physx on and highest.

You shouldn't have any problems at that low of a resolution.

That said, if you do, it's definitely the CPU causing the bottleneck. And overclocking isn't going to help on GTA IV. GTA almost requires a quad core to play well, and you've only got a dual. That would be the next thing I'd upgrade.
