i just bought a midi keyboard and ths comes up. uive done trouble shoot and manafactures download which improved it up to this c:\windows\system32\drivers\nvnusbaudio.sys. im on good powerful windows 7 and rele need help ... been tryibg for 2 days and ive got deadlines to meet! will be v appreciated .......... karl

Check windows device manager in the control panel. Unplug the device and use another keyboard if you can. If you find any devices highlighted in the control panel, you need to uninstall them or update the driver. Then try the installing the midi again with the system off. Then let windows search for the midi driver while you're online.

thanks for the tip its help ... the com is recieving the key note hit now ... but there is no sound coming out now ........... c:\windows32\drivers\nvnusbaudio.sys????????/ any deas???

Sounds like an issue with your sound card. Do other sounds play outside of the kayboard? Looks like you need to uninstall and re-isntall the drivers for the sound card. Get the latest drivers off the manufacturer's website, not what came on the install disk.
