Solved Samsung 840 firmware Tags: SSD Firmware Samsung Storage Last response: July 31, 2013 1:45 PM in Storage Share xerxesaria January 8, 2013 12:45:06 AM Hello, I have read in couple of places that I don't remember, that "why fix something that ain't broke". Does that apply to SSD firmware updates? Should I update them? I have seen in other forum questions that people have had problems with Samsung's firmware updates. Thank you. After 180 days or so they shouldn't be releasing firmware as frequently anyway and the issues addressed would be more specific than general.
