What exactly is a labtop anyways? Tower computer?

I think in English he means he wants to hook his LAPTOP up to his desktop PC. What do you guys think?

I think you are being a smartarse.

A tower is a type of case. A common term.

A labtop will be a spelling error.

PaulB's answer would be best as you cannot input into a laptop's monitor.

Another way would be to have the hard drive in an external enclosure and connect it up to which computer you want and see if you can boot from it.

you're still nitpicking it.
The guy is obviously not english speaking yet managed to do an admiral job. How about giving him some credit instead of negativity?
