Hey ive been having a problem with my computer recently where on startup I will get the Reboot and Select proper boot device error. Ive gone into my BIOS and made sure my harddrive with the priority on start up, Ran my windows instalation disk and it said that it couldnt recognize my harddrive. Ive triple checked to make sure everything is plugged in and not loose. Is there anyway to fix this or do i need a new harddrive

Ps: When my computer does start up normally it will randomly freeze then ill start to get the same error message when i try to reboot.

try to unplug the cable of the HDD and plug it again.. the error says that their is no Hard disk drive is detected when booting up.... if nothing happened try to change the sata cable or IDE cable of your HDD...
