Has anyone actually added the IBM bluetooth adapter that was
included in the X31 after buying their X31? I know that there is an LED and
possibly a button that the factory installed bluetooth that will be missing.
Other than that though, is the range ok or did you have to mess around with
adding an antenna?
One more thing I'm interested in knowing is which bluetooth
profiles the IBM adapter supports. I've read quite a few stories about
people buying bluetooth adapters that don't meet their needs due to the
profile support. I realize a cheap USB adapter may be easier and
definitely cheaper, but I'd rather have it integrated and if the IBM
adapter has good profile support it's probably worth doing that.
