Could Not Upload Files to Websites and Yahoo Accounts

Hi:

First of all, thank you for all the volunteers helping others solve
computing issues. I am glad I find this valuable website.

My PC is running Windows XP Home Edition with latest updates including SP2.
I also have DSL. Recently, I was not able to upload files either my own
website or one of the free accounts such as Yahoo. Whenever I try to upload a
file or files, my pc got stuck in uploading status. For example, if I try to
upload my Word file into Yahoo Briefcase, the upload bar will stay the same
forever. I never receive a message such as 'Finish Uploading' or something
like that.

Downloading is working fine. I found out about this issue when I was testing
my DSL speed. I did not have any problem with Download Test, but Upload Test
seemed to continue forever. I know this is not DSL Line issue since I was
able to upload files using my laptop which is sharing the same DSL Line with
my PC. I only have problem uploading files using my PC.

By the way, I disabled firewalls, anti-spy, and anti-virus before uploading
and still did not work.
