well i have althon 7750 dual core 2.7ghz and 4g ram ,GA-770ud3, Sapphire HD 4870 ,hdd 320

so do i need to upgrade or should i wait ??

Solution
^ That 940 for that price is a very good deal for those who already have an AM2+ mobo, but for people building new PC, going to DDR2 is not a good idea IMO...

As for the monitor size, 22-24" are fine(though still kinda big, but you will get used to it) but 27" is like you said pretty big, when you sit in front of it...
I would suggest you see the monitors in person and see which size are you comfortable with,...
^ If you PC is getting the job done, then dont upgrade now...
For a whole PC upgrade, WAIT, but IMO a CPU upgrade to say an Athlon II X3 4xx, would be very good as would better suit the HD 4870...Also you wont need to upgrade mobo or RAM or any other parts as they fit in AM2+ boards fine...

If you plan on going to 1080p, you might consider upgrading the CPU at the same time. The HD4870 is still a pretty good performer at that resolution, but your CPU will hold it back quite a bit. Depending on your budget, you might be better off waiting till October, and doing a full build with the 6k series when its released.

^^ The CPU will definitely make a difference...They are about 2 generations newer and also some games do take advantage of the Tri-Core...
Also you graphic card still has a lot of life left in it, upgrade when something better than the current 58xx releases...

Monitor - 1080p is a sweet spot for the current monitors, also HDMI is only useful if you want both Video and Audio through a single cable, else even DVI would get the job done...

but i hear some people said that it's not good while playing and it have thick bezel.

i don't care about the brand if it's samsung or acr or asus of the monitor more than care about quality
i wanna play the game i and feel i am inside it ;)

^ If you want very good quality monitors, then you would have to go with IPS panel monitors, but those would cost comparatively high though, but for regular usage, that ASUS for that price is a very good one...
Also you dont have to worry about bezel size if you wont be using more than 1 monitor for gaming...
