Selecting fast 2TB disk

I would like some advice on selecting a SATA disk for a NAS. I will buy at least two, but maybe four, I have not decided the NAS type yet.

2TB should be a suitable size and with good performance. Could you recommend some disk type?

Thanks for your reply. Could you give some motivation for the WD?

I have from some reviews got to belive that the Seagate Barracuda might be performance better than the others, but might have reliability issues - what do the forum think?
  3. Western digital specifically makes the Red line HDDs for NAS.
