The MSI NF750-G55 supports both SLI and Hybrid SLI and has the correct socket type to support the AMD Phenom II X3 720 Socket AM3 processor. MSI doesn't include an SLI bridge connector with that motherboard so you will have to provide your own.

The BIOSTAR TForce590SLI Deluxe motherboard, that you've linked to, is Socket AM2. BIOSTAR's CPU Support list for that motherboard confirms that it doesn't support an AMD Phenom II X3 720.

The ASUS M4N75TD is a Socket AM3 motherboard that supports NVIDIA SLI and includes an SLI bridge connector and the AMD Phenom IIX3 720 is in the list of supported processors.

You can also use Socket AM3+ motherboards like the following:

    ASRock 970 EXTREME4

i never noticed how hard it was to find a board @ under $90 that does SLI lol

hope you can find what you're looking for!

    Look at the specification:

    PCI Express 2.0 x16 : 2 (x16, x4)

That tells me immediately that it doesn't support SLI and it doesn't include an SLI bridge connector.

how did you find that it doesn't support SLI ? "2(x16, x4)" ?? :heink:

x4 doesn't meet NVIDIA's requirements to run SLI. Must be x8 or x16.

AMD 990FX or 990X chipset motherboards support SLI.

PCI Express x16 @ x16 or x8 or x4 refers to the number of PCI Express lanes being used by the x16 slot. More lanes means higher PCI Express bandwidth.
  6. ok whats the CHEAPEST crossfireX motherboard ??

    edit; runs 2 graphic card @ x32 (x16,x16)

No such thing as x32 for a PCI Express x16 slot.

Here's a list of AMD chipset motherboards with at least two PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots @ x16 mode that supports ATI Quad CrossFireX, 3-Way CrossFireX and CrossFireX.

You're the one that knows the features that you want/need.

If you need to use more than 8GB of memory then select the Foxconn board.

If you need more than 4 USB 2.0 ports then select the Foxconn board.

If you need more than 4 SATA ports then select the Foxconn board.

If you need an eSATA port then select the Foxconn board.
  11. what about the FSP hybrid transport ?

what motherboard do you suggest for an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 (2833mhz) and a GTX 460 SLI (768mb) im thinking of upgrading motherboard and GPU to make a gaming PC found this card for 130$ but 80$ mail in rebate (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162058), so im thinking its a good card for the price, anything better for around that price would be nice too, thanks
