Question regarding power supply

hi guys,
for the first time i'm building my own pc "from the scratch".

the components are as follows:

HDD 3.5" Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB HD502HJ 7200U/m

CPU AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0GHz - Socket AM3 BOX
MBP ASRock N68-S3 UCC AM3

as power supply i plan to use my old

i heard various opinions wether this enough or not.
can you help me and tell me how to calculate what i really need?

More about question power supply
  1. Should easily be enough
  2. For your first build, make sure you hear both ram module CLIP on your motherboard.
Also, make sure your fans are blowing on the good direction.

Last but not the least, come back if you have any trouble with your computer, it will be a pleasure to help you !

T: Your power supply as stated above, should be plenty for your 8800 ... If you plan on going for a second one, you might want to go for a 600-700 watts psu instead.
    But for now, enjoy !
