I have had a Gateway GT4024 for a while, and I upgraded the RAM to 2GB (max) and I needed to replace the motherboard because my RAM was bottlenecking my overall performance. So I bought a EVGA 730i motherboard and I knew that it was compatible withe 533Mhz DDR2 but when I put both sticks in, it would display on the POST code, E7. So I tested the RAM and only one stick, by itself, only worked. To test the other piece, I put it in my older motherboard and it worked perfectly. The only difference in the RAM that one is
PC2-4200U-444-12-B1
and the other is
PC2-4200U-444-12-B0
Can someone please explain the difference to me?
