Just got a good deal on it from Tiger (talked the manager at a location to get the price down, so it was actually cheaper then newegg.ca)

but for arguement sake ill post the links from newegg

Case= HAF 922
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197

OS= Windows 7
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16832116754

Mobo= Asus 890 GX AM3
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131633

CPU= AMD Phenom II X4 965 (got the 965 for the price of the 945)
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103727

Memory= Patrior GSeries SEc 5 4gb 1600mhz
http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220436

HDD= Caviar Blue 500gb (salvaged a HD from my old PC which is also 500gb so i opted to save cash here)

Other notes...My PSU i salvaged from my old computer as did my GPU... I am planning on using these 2 for now and upgrading them later as I was advised right now they are both perfectly fine for my needs (I am running on a 22" LG with 1680x1050) primary uses are movie watching, gaming (sc2 is prob most intensive game or WoW), surfing

so curent PSU= http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3276567
current GPU= EVGA 9800 GTX+ 1gb version (cant find a link for it anywhere)

I wanna know if i should upgrade my PSU or not....i didnt upgrade my GPU yet because 1) i was told my card is fine for now and 2) i was waiting for the new 6xxx series to get released.

Also on a side note my current cooling is just stock as i did not plan to overclock....

So basically do i need the following and if so how soon=
A) new PSU?
B) new GPU?
c) additional cooling

Well the GTS 250 is a sort of refresh of the 9800GTX+ and right now you could get by with say no/low AA/AF on 1680 x 1050 but for higher settings a GPU upgrade is mandatory Lastly thats kindda pricey for a 890GX mobo - if no CF/SLI plans hit an 870 chispet?

i didnt pay that i actually paid 159 for the board i got it instore...was just using newegg as an ideal.

so yah im gonna wait on my GPU until the new 6 series comes out and decide what i need to do.

Also with this build will i need additional cooling at all? I prob dont plan to overclock least not right away.

would you say my build is decent? obvs its early but if need be is there some decent upgrade room to give it extra life?

obvs upgrading my GPU and then crossfiring later if need be

can get the Phenom II X6 processor if i ever wanted tho i doubt id ever need it.

Maybe have to replace my PSU eventually? but even when upgrading my card say to a 5850 or 460gtx 1gb im pretty sure my current PSU would be ample wouldnt it?
