So I just bought Mushkin Chronos 120 GB SSD, I plugged it into my PC, but I couldn't detect it in BIOS no matter what(tried IDE and AHCI, so I decided to try it on my cheap reserve laptop (eMachines E725) and it work there. SSD got detected in IDE and I was able to find it in Windows 8 install setup (I did not continue with the installation, restarted there and unplugged the SSD).
PC Specs:
550w PSU
500 GB HDD

I think it is also worth mentioning that I tried reinstalling Windows on my HDD while the drive was plugged in (since it didn't work I just let it in there) and I was not able to boot the installation it would BSOD with 0x0000005c error.

Have you tried it with the HDD cables disconnected?

Yes, my first attempt was to run in without the HDD and I was not able to, It wouldn't detect it neither in AHCI nor IDE.
