If you are going z68, do not get any gigabyte board that does not have video outputs. half the point of z68 is so you can use the integrated graphics processor on sandy bridge if you need it. Without the video outputs, you cannot fallback on integrated graphics and z68 would not be worth it - minus well get p67.

If you are looking for a high CPU OC and still want all of the z68 capabilities, I would get the

GIGABYTE GA-Z68XP-UD5 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128513

That mobo is out of your price range so I would go down to the ud4xp
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128507
which is not as great as the UD5 because of less phases.

If you are looking for an OC on your GPUs, I would go with an ASRock because it offers more PCIe lanes:

Also it is PCIe3.0 capable with Ivy bridge (so will last you until q2'12)

wow that looks nice! but no sorry I could go 230$ only if is really worth it! I only want my GPUs to stay cool, OC them, and squeeze all the juice from them! I was going with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813131730 but a friend said OC 2 big cards with it would be very risky.. I liked the 2 x PCIe 3.0 x16 Slots but 1 x PCIe 2.0 x16 Slot (would one be enough??) also no OC genie nor SSD caching(?) (not sure how to spell it)

HAF X may provide you an advantage with cable management and big space for airflow.

Chillin, just my luck to learn about PCI 3. There is no video card I know of that can run on those right now.

Yeah, wait until Ivy bridge to come out - about November and then the 3.0 GPUs will come shortly thereafter.

I console myself with the knowledge I have done my best to make a BF3 build. A game that will require at least a year to complete if ever.

By then the new tech will settle out and be stable me thinks.
