Was trying to find out if I could add a subwoofer to my PC? I got a pair of speakers for X-mas and would like to add a little bass to them since they are just a 2 speaker system. Most of what I found searching on the internet is adding car subwoofers and car amps. Wasn't sure if someone here might have done something like this before, or would have more knowledge about it.

If your sound card has a separate sub out, then yes. If not you won't be able to. Most 2.1 and up systems have the PC connections in the sub, then output power and oudio to the speakers. Since you already have a powered set of speakers, you will have some major issues when you connect that to a powered sub. For the price of a stand-alone sub you can get a decent 2.1 system anyway.
