DDR3 Chipsets

Kindly let me know which chipsets support DDR3 modules made with 256 x 8 dram chips and which DDR3 compatible chipsets do not support ram modules made with 256 x 8 dram chips.

Most DDR3 ram modules were made with 128 x 8 dram chips until recently. So I know that all DDR3 compatible chipsets will work with RAM modules made with 128 x 8 ram chips.

None are validated that I know of as of yet at least in the consumer marketspace. I'm not sure on the server end.

i dont think it should be a problem you get up to 8gb ddr3 sticks that work on most sockets without a problem
