More about gaming
  1. Oops! So in that should come to around 1500€ or $2000?
  2. Since you are planning to run a 2nd hard drive for storage, consider a 120GB SSD instead of the VelociRaptor. Win7 has trim for it and you will really notice the speed improvement. Price should be comparable.
  3. With gaming/rendering i would go this route though i suspect $$ is not much an issue with ya hehe

    Since just @ 1680 x 1050

    1. No need CF/SLI: 870/SB850 chipset
    2. 1055T + excellent air cooler + OC
    3. Ok 8GB RAM all things considered may be useful
    4. 60GB SSD Sandforce based controller (boot) , 1-2TB mechanical for storage
