I have a Sony Vaio laptop with a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor 2.00 GHz
P7350 (3M Cache 1066 MHz FSB). Can I replace the processor(2.66 GHz) or motherboard in a laptop with faster ones made for a sony or is the processor soldered in and motherboard not removable? is the only option replace the laptop? no open and change anything but the RAM if so that sucks ; (,

I found out from another thread that you can not change mother boards on laptops. Only option is increase ram however there is some software called RAMDISK thats soppose to increase the speed of your laptop a lot using RAM that you have on your laptop by alocating as much as you want to whatever process you want internet explorer for example. I haven't tryed it yet, I have been to thier website, they swear by it and yes it's expensive $200 to $300.
