i5 760 200.00 med end,soon to be put away with the dinosaurs.......
i7 950 300.00 higher end and is all I would consider right now based on the current market place trends

It almost seems that you life depends on choosing either of those CPUs. When you're building a gaming PC, on a budget, its important to focus more on the graphics card than the CPU. Any one of those choices would mean spending 20% of the budget on the CPU, which isn't a very good idea.

i am really sorry for that well just get the i7920 its very good for gaming and will last you longer dont go for amd cpus and ati gpus they are not so good (speaking from my personal experiences) and to increase the speed of your games yuo can download the game booster and with a little knowledge you can overclock i was new to overclocking but i managed to overclock my e7200 from 2.53 to 2.75 without increasing or decreasing any voltage and any other thing so thats a good overclock for me as i managed to do it as i was a newbee or whatever you call it i personally think this processer will last you at least two to two and a half years and only after that you will have to upgrade and once again i am sorry
