Memory performance

Hi, i have 2 GB 1 stick of transcend DDR2 800 and 1 stick of dynate which is 1 GB DDR2 667. I wanted to ask that if i use both ram, will it give me more performance in gaming, windows stuff, for future long run as 3 GB ram will run at 667mhz speed rather 800mhz Or it is better to use only 2 GB stick of transcend as it is 800 mhz.

More memory (3 GB instead of 2 GB) a little slower, even running in single channel mode, will help over all performance.

You might need to run the sticks at 2.2 volts (it is safe) instead of whatever the factory says is the rated voltage.

I don't know, how to increase voltage for ram. company rated is 1.8. Is this easy to increase voltage, any software for it. If ram runs at 1.8, then will it be still good to use 3 GB ram rather 2 GB of transcend only?
Also wanted to ask, that manufacture of those rams are different, so will that conflict any thing, as dynate is consider bad as compare to transcend.
