only read up on the ares, and i mainly got that it gets loud, and you get a gaming mouse with no games, and its shiny. oh and it comes in a locking briefcase inside the box?

Ares is two 5870s where as 5970 is two 5850 ... Havent compared the benchmark results but 5870s in crossfire outperforms 5970.
Ares is a bad ass GPU but the price is very high... youc ould just get two 5870s but well in this case your emove 1 PCI slot. Imagine Crossfire Ares
