Hey I have a second hard drive from an old windows vista computer. It is a 120gb seagate barracuda and i would like to use it for storage in addition to my 1tb existing hard drive. When i plug in the SATA cable and SATA power cable nothing shows up. Is there something I need to do to the hard drive from my vista computer like completely wipe out the hard drive?
Thanks, M.

Can you see the drive in the Disk Management console? Right-click Computer in the start menu and click "Manage" (click OK to the Windows security prompts) and go to Disk Management. If so, what are the properties?

No it does not show up at all. I tried to reformat it on my old computer but was unsuccesful.
