I3 w/ gpu versus i5 without

buying a new laptop soon and need some advice. trying to stay within budget but do not want to compromise on performance. not a gamer but pretty advanced user and lots of multi-tasking. want to get i5 with gpu, but just outside price range. of the 2 options any recommendations, suggestions, etc. are appreciated. I'm open to any input.

So far I think since the i3 is the entry-level new gen intel that I would be better off with an i5 and no gpu (just intel HD integrated) and take my chances. My biggest concern about the gpu is that I will be doing some internet streaming to 1080p hdtv via hdmi.

Thanks in advance.

Part 2

Just did a benchmark on the readily available cpus in question and they seem to me to be pretty close (like 10 to 15 %).

i3 370M
i5 460M

That means to me the main difference would be the turbo boost of the i5. Is that correct? Thoughts?

i5 460M is 100MHz faster and has turbo,so overall the difference isn't much.
How much is the price difference between them ?
