Sempron Vs Athlon

i just purchased my computer and it has a amd sempron 145 and want to get a game modern warfare2 but it say min for cpu amd 64 am i able to play this game with my processor

The sempron is comparable to Athlon 64, single core CPU with 64bit instructions so I do not see why not. It is though not a very powerful CPU.

You might be able to unlock the extra disabled core on that CPU giving you a dual core CPU which could perform better.Might even oc as well.

That CPU will be sufficient for gaming at lower settings. However, more importantly: What video card do you have?
