So guys.. here it goes.
problem: after installing the new card (Hd 5570 power color) computer won't boot. But fans and everything is still spinning. No post, no bios. Beep code is 4-2-3-3 (extended block move) don't know what that means... :fou: if I remove the 5570 everything goes back to normal.

What I'm sure: psu is good and card is good and psu is enough power. I know this as I tried the psu and card on a different motherboard. and it worked fine

p.s card doesnt have 4 pin or 6 pin power connector.

Now currently using onboard graphics (intel 946GZ express chipset family...)

Comp spec: lenovo a55-8706-aj6
intel core 2 duo E4500 @2.20GHZ, lenovo motherboard (i think because there is no brand on the motherboard itself, 2 GB ddr2 ram (2X1GB) running vista home premium

Just wondering, do I need to play with the jumper on the motherboard to install a new video card? and do I need to reset cmos or anything like that?
1 more question... can the mother board be incompatible??? I does have a PCIE X16 slot. but im not sure if it is a 2.1 or 2.0 or 1.0
thanks!!!!!! :bounce:

really??? but then I bought my comp back in 2007... I'm not sure which pci-e X16 I'm using... anyway to check??? and if I am using the 1.0 slot. Anyway to fix the problem?? thx

There maybe users having problems with a 2.1 card in PCI-E 1.0 slot, but generally it should work fine without any problems.
