APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: The sooner the better

BUDGET RANGE: What would fit best really, but looking for around $100-$150ish

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming [mainly upgraded for Starcraft 2, hoping last for some games in the future]

CURRENT GPU AND POWER SUPPLY:

OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ600MXSP 600W

BFG NVIDIA 7800 GTX 256

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS:

AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz

BIOSTAR A770E3 AM3 AMD 770 ATX AMD

Patriot G Series ‘Sector 5’ Edition 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Basically I just bought everything, but haven't decided on a new GPU. What kind of card would be recommended for specs I have. Hoping it will last a few years down the road. Or would it be best to wait a little longer for prices to drop and stick it out with the 7800 GTX for awhile?

Thanks, all help is appreciated.

So it sounds like the 5770 is the way to go. How do you think my 7800gtx will handle with sc2? (I will eventually find out in a week). Would it be better to wait some time to wait for the 5770 to drop in price, it seems like they have been the same cost as they are for over a year now. Or maybe wait out on a little better upgrade for around $150?
