Frames per second differ

hi there ive recently bought an xfx ati 5670 and im playing these 2 games: nfs undercover and nfs carbon when i noriced with fraps that nfs undercover has about 60 fps with maxed out settings and nfs carbon has about 30fps with maxed settings is there anything wrong? thanx for any replies in advance

Fraps decrease the fps that's for sure this can be as the card can handle the newer games more easily then the old one.
