Upgrade to SSD

Im thinking of buying the Samsung SSD 830 series drive 64 GB from:

http://www.microcenter.com/product/378086/830_Series_MZ-7PC064D-AM_64GB_SATA_60Gb-s_25_Internal_Solid_State_Drive_(SSD)_Desktop_Kit_with_3-core_MCX_Controller

I currently have a 1TB hard drive and i want to transfer windows os only is there a way without re-installing windows?

  1. You could get some software to clone and copy your OS from your HDD to the SSD but there can be a whole host of problems when you do it that way.
    The software is this:

there is freeware out there to do the same job but I have never used them as I normally just install a fresh copy of my OS saves any hassle and avoids any possible problems.
