Seagate 4tb removed from enclosure

I picked up a seagate 4tb usb drive from costco on the cheap and thought i would just remove it and plug it directly to my mobo via sata III. Now my problem is that no matter what I do, I can't seem to get it as one single 4tb drive. I set it up as GPT in windows 7 and windows breaks it up into 2 different drive letters. Is there any way to get windows to see all 4tb as one drive letter?

    I did that. No joy.
  3. Did you plug the drive to one of the Intel's SATA channels? And if so, do you have Intel RST installed? If not then you can get it here
